Poll: Would you ever consider promoting gaming?

As an affiliate would you ever consider promoting gaming in light of the up-coming law to be enacted?

Sure - the US is the only country with a problem over gaming and don't fall under US law (and never agreed to any country's laws other than a country of residence).

Tho sure, it's a problem for US folks, but the "gaming war" is far from over yet.

though if you're a non-US citizen and you promote gambling to US citizens is there a risk that you could be prosecuted/extradited? much the same as if you sent drugs to someone in the US through the post from outside the US.

that maybe applys if you own a gaming site - not if you just promote it as an affiliate

haha, no... there isn't.

That's like saying if you start a site promoting women in the workforce one of those middle eastern countries will have you extradited because they have laws against it.

I think sending drugs would depend on whether its legal in your country or not, but no country is going to obide by another countries laws over its own.

I remember when people thought the new 2257 law would affect people everywhere, I laughed at that a little... US law applies in the US only.

There is a vast difference in transporting drugs across jurisdictional borders - drug trading is (least normally) a criminal offense in most countries and treaties exist for cooperation by law enforcement etc.

Gaming activity is not a criminal offense in most nations. Gaming is also not an "extraditable offense". Even if it was an extraditable offense, no court will agree with any extradiction if the alleged offense is not an offense within the jurisdiction of the court (ie there is no offense to start with). Bottom line - other nations have no interest in the the domestic laws of the US unless they relate to extradition agreements or existing treaties for cooperation.

All of this bullshit with gambling in the US is happening because Vegas and the Indian casinos were losing their asses. All the US casinos are owned by corporations and those corporations funded Bush's election and the elections of countless senators and congressman.

With enough $$ and lobbying pressure (one builds the other), they got this law passed to fuck the little guy yet again.

I'm not a gambling guy, nor am I a bush-hater. I'm just a realist who sees another example of big $$ getting pissed off because the peasants found a shortcut.

I will continue until it is not lawful for me to. Since all I do is promote gaming programs which offer click-through campaigns and initial deposit sales which are legal to promote in the United States (specifically California, where I live), I will continue.
