    New info on the Jordan Capri tape

    So I think we are closer to knowing the truth now. Jordan called me and she found out that a friend got the files from her computer when she and her husband were away for a weekend. He found the video in her "recent documents" list. She says he admitted to copying and sharing the video with a few other guys, but swears he didn't put it on the web and doesn't know who did.

    We sent a nasty C&D to the email address that was listed when the video was first posted, and no one seems to have heard from him since.

    So here's the irony: With all the attention the little clip is getting, Jordan asked me how much I thought the tape was worth. She's not stupid, so there is a *chance* we will release it now anyway! I'll post more info when I know more.

                                                      Steve, someone who knows a little something about the business had to know to register the domain names early, to choose Moniker as a registrar, and get privacy protection. Not much about the way it was handled seemed amateurish.

                                                      If you start selling the tape, do you plan to not pay for anyone that sends traffic from the domain names that were registered?

                                                                              Not hypocritical at all. If Jordan doesn't want the video released, I won't release it, and I'll make sure no one else does.

                                                                              However, if it is HER decision to release it, then I will help her and make sure she gets FAIRLY compensated for it.

                                                                              What other options do I have?

                                                                                                                                  As for protecting her. If all that is said is true. He was and is protecting her. You do not need nor want a model that is jaded or runs from the biz because a personal moment was released. Then at the same time if she is considering letting the rest out since some has already been seen and she can profit from it. Again he is protecting her by making sure she gets her share. Protecting ones biz is not black and white and there are subtle issues.
