this is the most poorly executed PR attempt in this industry that i can remember.

today was just an "oh, it might happen" thread, designed only to soften the blow of the alleged shock and awe, suprise and all the "i just want to protect my good friend" bluster of the first thread and the eventual "its ok guys, go ahead and promote my good friend getting banged on her honeymoon in her first hardcore appearance,... the free hosted galleries are up" announcement.

i am not saying the video won't sell. thats not in question. treating everyone like they are idiots with a poorly concieved deception, a tarnished reputation, people questioning his integrity and that of his program is also a cost. everytime he posts on the subject, that costs goes up.

No one ever said it was definitely coming out. They have no responsibility to release it, but it would sure be stupid not to.

The way I look at the whole situation is if Steve made all this shit up then what harm was caused? He didn't screw anyone over and no one got hurt.

Just because Steve said they might be releasing it does not mean they ARE releasing it. If you started on projects to promote it and it comes out then you are 1 step ahead of other people. If it doesn't come out then you wasted your time. It's called a gamble. They are under no obligation to release it. period.
