I won't post the url because my peeps at GFY won't appreciate it. But it's one of the largest mainstream webmaster boards.

I was flabbergasted!! $89 for 6 months pre-paid posting ability or $150 for 1 year pre-paid LOL!

GFY would be worth billions if they instituted the same rules/charges.

nice, only one i pay for is somethingawful, but some others do charge a fee for sticky posts etc, offtopic, genmay both on the top 10 highest traffic boards, its crazy the cheap advertising they have on them tho.

Most people on mainstream boards don't have a clue but you can meet some pretty good people sometimes.

I've been a member there for years, it's decent but you can find a lot of the same type of information elsewhere. If you're looking for eyeballs then it is what it is... But what is giving me a bit of a chuckle here is that you're saying that a few bucks a year is too much to pay to get those eyeballs?
