Sometime ago I read (I don't remember the source) that 90% of Canada's economic engines are owned by US Corporations.

Does anyone know if this is a fact? If so what source are you using?

Well I did a quick once over and though it states that the US is the largest foreign invester I did not see a percentage of the Canadian business's that are controlled by US investers.

I wish I could remember the source that stated 90% of the major business's in Canada are controlled by US investers/corporations.

Did you get it from an American dealer? 99% of most new American scanners will have the more sensitive scanning areas blocked out. No worries though, plenty of mods out there.

Most of Canadas economic instituations are in fact protected by law from intense foreign ownership. The lastest figures released for 1998 show that there are 12,725 foreign owned corporations in Canada that account for roughly 31.5% of all corporate revenue generated in Canada.

The breakdown of the 12,725 foreign owned companies is as follows:
