I hope he doesn't stay mad or anything. From where I sit, I didn't think you really meant to bring him down or anything. Maybe Eric will let you change the subject line of the thread and we all can hold hands and sing campfire songs again. :) |

Apology accepted. We've all stuck our foot in our mouth one time or another on GFY (I've done it myself), and apologies are rarely ever given. You manned up, and apologized - and I accept. As for if the model was coked out. I don't know, and don't care to know. She certainly didn't seem like she was, and didn't go to the bathroom over and over, or was ever in there for longer then it takes to pee. At the end of the shoot she was pretty tired, and went to bed within a couple hours. Slept 2 hours longer then I did. She seemed much more like a stoner then a coke head any day, and no.... she didn't pull out the weed (damn her! - :1orglaugh ), so I wouldn't put money on it or anything, but I'd say she was sober the entire 8 hours of the shoot, and the other 10 hours that she was sleeping and woke up this morning. |
This could get out of hand fast.

wow...you guys are really barkin up the wrong tree here ....Tat is a great guy, and yeah have had a few drinks with him before but he def isn't a guy to be in on shit like this....it really is pretty lousy to say something like this about someone you know nothing about

no. i know nothing of dope. the pro photographer shooting glamour or erotica specifically WANTS the pupils to be huge if the girl is looking into the lens. they are psychological reasons for this, but it makes the model more alluring. the reason for this is because all humans pupils will dilate if they look at something they like. the "look" is accomplished on the set by keeping ambiant lighting dim and modeling lights set on low. this forces the models' pupils to open and the strobe freezes them open in the shot. it is the mark of the pro shooter, not the amateur. look in the moody fashion ads in vanity fair for the idea. |
Some photographers set up their lighting in order to get large pupils on purpose. For some people that is sexy. Some photographers do it by accident because they don't know how to prevent it with their lighting. Huge pupils does not always equal "crack" or any other form of drug. Just for the record :winkwink:

But she looks sexy and not doped. Even the lighting can make your pupils change.

I've canceled shoots when I realize the model is on something ...

If she's doing coke, you're fucking...
If you're both doing it, you're talking. Oh wait...wrong thread. |

Girls that do porn are not ivy league princesses. Nor are they daddy's little girl. For the most part, they are dumb ass sluts who can't do much else than suck cocks and get fucked. |

I shoot outside so I have never run into large pupils, but looking at it from a scientific standpoint, I would think that if you shot in a very dimly lit room the models pupils would be very large. By the time the flash or flashes go off and the picture is captured I would guess that the pupils would be captured in their dilated state before they had time to react to the light. And as long as you didn't take pics to fast you would be able to keep taking shots of the models dilated pupils due to the low low lighting in the room. Just a guess though because I have never read anything or taken any classes on the subject. BV |
I don't give a fuck.
I am still not buying your content. |

If you take a photograph of your subject while they are in a dimely lit room, chances are you'll get a picture with larger then normal pupils. Also, anytime the pupil is dialated and your taking pictures, you run the chance of getting red-eye in your shots. For all my point-n-shoot buddies out there. If your getting red-eye in your pics...it's prolly because your shooting indoors in dimely lit rooms. Best thing to do is turns some lights on or shoot outside. :thumbsup |

this thread confuses me

So I second your statement. Even medical specialists canīt tell you that if they are examining the personīs pupils alone. So itīs impossible to tell from a pic, especially if you donīt know what you are talking about.:2 cents: |
