    What hotel to stay in while in Thailand? HELP

    I am going to Thailand and need to know what is a good hotel to stay in so that it is centralized. Near shopping and a fairly safe neighborhood

    Any info. is appreciated

                  I'm going out on a limb here and guessing that you are going to stay in Bangkok.

                  So what you need to let me know is if you want to be around the red light areas or not.

                  If you want to stay nice, check out the Shangri-la near the river. Shopping is as easy ANYWHERE in Thailand as closing your eyes, spinning around, and pointing to a direction. It is everywhere. However, the funnest shopping is at Chatuchak weekend market. It's insane.

                          I am located in Bangkok. I am having some friends over tomorrow and just came back from booking their rooms. I booked a room for them right on sukhumvit (pretty much the main road in BKK). They are close to shopping and all the sleazy places and they can take girls in to the hotel.


                          If you stay at a place like Shangri-la you cant take working girls in to the hotel. Hit me up on icq if you need some help.
