Bose in professional audio circle is known as blows because they make crappy speakers but just have really good advertising and overcharge for everything. So stay away from Bose I have bose in my acura now, cant wait to get it swapped out.

Ok if you really want the *best* stuff buy Nakamachi or Eclipse. Bar-none these are the best headunits for sound quality. Nakamachi looks like a stock deck, which is good because theives won't steal it, naks are in every Lexus so that shows how quality they are. Eclipse is a lot more flashier, but is a lot more expensive and if you're in a small town you may not be able to pick one up.

For speakers you should get Focal components but if you go this route you'rre going to have to get an amp for them because they are not the best to run off HU power. You can also run a 4 channel amp to power your speakers and subs but I like to buy 2 different amps for my subs and speakers.

Amp and subs? I would probably keep all rockford, rockford amp and solobraric sub. This is the square sub and you betcha these shits hit fuck hard.

Really it just depends on how much you want to spend, but for you I wouldn't get anything other than an Eclipse or Nakamichi head unit.
