          Welcome to Tampa ... It'll be more expensive, but I would recommed looking in S.Tampa close to Bayshore Blvd. and Howard Ave. Lotsa of cool places around there and close to TIA

              I have a condo for rent. its 2 bedrooms with a boat slip for $900 a month
              Its in tampa 5 min from the airport and 15 from downtown

                  There are a few apt complexes on Memorial Hwy which is close to TIA.

                  Honestly, I'd be snapping up Roger's condo he just posted for that price!

                              up to 40 min drive?

                              Try Brandon or Valrico - used to be good areas when we used to live there.

                                  St. Petersburg is about 30 min. or less from Tampa. St. Petersburg is less expensive and a lot more clean, less traffic and more peaceful and friendly then Tampa by far. Plus we have the beautiful beaches

                                                      If you want the best of both worlds, Tampa for things to do and St Pete for the beachs and water sports. I would look around just on the other side of Gandy bridge or Howard Franklin. Its in the middle of both places, 15 mins from TIA and 20 mins to beaches. Decent places to rent along 4th St. while you look for a house. Good luck!
