Any experience with sleepwalking?

I was sleepwalking last night and really hurt myself. The last time I know that I was sleepwalking was a few years ago I woke up at my front door naked as a jay bird oping and slamming the front door. Good thing it was early in the morning and know one was around other than my hubby who woke me up by asking me what the hell I was doing. I don't know if there's a way to make sure you don't sleep walk or what but boy I sure wish I hadn't last night. I really fucked myself up.

haha. I remember once being asleep enough to almost piss in the bin, but I realised just as i was about to

I did as a teenager. I peed in front of my sister and her boyfriend on a chair.
She asked what I was doing and I told her to go fuch herself and I went back to sleep after wipping myself with the clothes that was on a dryer machine...

i did once when i was a little kids, i went and sat on my dad's knee and peed on him and went back to bed.
my brother now sleep walks his every night gets up and checks on his kids,

Research reports indicate that about 18% of the population are prone to
sleepwalking. It is more common in children than in adolescents and adults.
Boys are more likely to sleepwalk than girls and the highest rates of
sleepwalking are seen at ages 11 to 12. Sleepwalking may have a genetic
origin, and it can last into adulthood.

For some people, the episodes of sleepwalking occur less than once per
month and do not result in any harm. However, in its most severe form, the
episodes occur almost every night and may be associated with physical
injury.

There are some things you can do to help a sleepwalker: make sure the
person gets plenty of rest as being overtired can trigger a episode. Try to
make bedtime ritual as relaxing as possible as stress can be another trigger
for sleepwalking. Remove anything from the bedroom that could be hazardous
or harmful. The sleepwalker's bedroom should be on the ground floor of the
house and the possibility of the person opening windows or doors should be
eliminated.

In terms of your question about hypnosis, yes it has been found to be
helpful for sleepwalking in both children and adults. In addition, some
anti-anxiety medications have also been found to reduce or eliminate these
episodes.

my husband was in the army and he started sleepwalking after some bad things happened overseas and the doctor told him to take sleeping pills for a few weeks and he stopped something about being in a deeper sleep

I did all the time, which is double freaky.

I just do not actually get up out of bed. I will be asleep and then WHAM! I am awake on the fucking floor in pain. According to the fiance she has seen me sit up, toss my legs out of the bed and then just fall foward.

So now I make sure my chair is attached to the side of the bed so it is in my way.

my bro used to sleepwalk when he was 7. we'll just find him outside or on the floor and he doesnt remember how he got there...very weird

I also used to sleepwalk. I grew out of it. But my parents got this little battery operated thing that screwed onto my door and set it before i went to sleep, if the door opened (aka i was leaving my room but asleep) the thing would beep pretty loudly and they knew to come get me and throw me back in bed

Sounds silly, but it would be a good way for your husband to be alerted so you dont hurt yourself again

I still wake up on occasion standing in the corner of the room punching at the ceiling trying to get some 'guy' down. I also wake up with people standing over me or peeping around the corner of the door. It's really weird, but amusing to my wife. I used to go 'walking' when I was younger, couple of times straight out of the front door.

I guess I see dead people.
