Miami Vice Comes to the Gay Phoenix Forum!
Put on your Madonna lace, your raspberry beret or just tab your jeans and flip up your collar and join PrideBucks, BadPuppy and CCBill for ?Miami Vice,? an ?80s retro party at the Gay Phoenix Forum that?s guaranteed to be totally rad. The party kicks off at 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 at Club Miami, just down the street from the host hotel, and party goers will dance to 80?s tunes, enjoy free drinks and tropical hors d'oeuvres. ?I never in a million years thought we could top the Rocky Whorer Dickture Show at the 2004 Phoenix Forum, but I think this party will do just that,? said BadPuppy?s Lisa Turner. ?I cannot tell you just how excited we are. It's a true honor to co-sponsor this party with the great folks at PrideBucks and CCBILL.? 80s fans, encouraged to dress up in their best retro garb, will also be free to mingle in the other infamous Phoenix gay clubs, Amsterdam and Malibu Beach Club, which are part of the same bar complex. A wrist band will guarantee they?ll be treated like ?Prince? throughout the trio of bars. ?We?re hoping everyone will cut loose that night, have fun throwing themselves back to the 80s and enjoying the Miami spice we?ll be adding to the club,? said Rainey Stricklin of PrideBucks. ?We?re encouraging everyone to dress up from the most minimal costume of jeans and Polos to full-on Boy George look-a-likes!?
