Sometimes great opportunities present themself and you have to make the move or they will likely be lost, and even less likely you'll get them again.

For instance with these domains, I had a friend who was getting out of the business whom used to own pornography.com and penis.com among other great domains, and had a portfolio of about 200+ domains he was selling for 35k. I offered 25, we ended up agreeing at 30k. This was 2001-2002 ish. I later sold the handful of domains above for several times the whole list, and I still own a vast majority of the list I bought for 30k.

At the time, I was very reluctant to purchase the list but ended up doing so anyway. In all it turned out well, though i did lose some very nice HUN typo domains to The Hun himself when his attorney's contacted us after I was trying to sell them on here :winkwink:

Overall it turned out to be a great investment. :thumbsup
