I recall many years ago they had one and tanks were up and down Sukhumvit and no one allowed out at night.

Everything is kinda operating normally, just many banks were closed today.

Thailand tried to change from a sex tourist destination to a family orientated holiday destination around 15 years ago.

What they did not calculate into the plans was the high cost of flying your family from Europe and the US. Don't know how many Chinese, Japanese and Australians will bring their families but not enough I would imagine.

They need to just split it, keep the go-go bars out of some resorts. But as you said the Thais could not plan a picnic.
