WTF? A domain that I don't own appear in my hosting

I logged into my hosting and it shows a domain that I am sure I did not register, it is not mine. I did a whois and it seems to be Russian.

Anyone has had a similar experience?

Any input welcome

You need to clarify a bit. Is one of your domains resolving to another domain design altogether? This seems like the type of thing you should tell your host about right away. Maybe they screwed something up or maybe something was exploited

Details - are you functioning in a control panel or something and that is where you see the new domain?

Hope that's not a 'dedicated' box.

I'm sorry, you're right. It does appear in my CP, that's where I'm seeing it. It is a virtual hosting.

I would phone your host or put an emergency ticket in. There is a recent cPanel exploit but it really could be any number of things - even just a technician error - if you have a shared hosting account and one of your hosts techs added a domain to your account instead of another one on the same server by accident. But, the worst case scenario is still the same - your account, or the whole server, might be compromised.

Good luck!
