i told my mom when she was down in atlanta visiting one time. we were at fuddruckers having lunch and i told her that i did cam shows and had my own site.

She doesn't bother to know. All she knows is that I work on a certain company as an IT expert. :)

Yeah my 'rents know.. My Dad doesn't care...My Mum kinda accepts it but I think she'd rather see me in a "real job". I was shocked at that cuz my Dad is the religous one in the family. I guess both would probably be more concerned if I was a model.

I feel sorry for folks who feel they have to keep it secret, personally I reckon the people keeping it secret aren't doing themselves or the industry any favours.....We all hate those strict religious nutters putting restrictions on us..If more people had an understanding about the porn biz maybe there would be less worry within the religious sectors...

My grandma was like 'ITS DIRTY MONEY!' but she's totally come around to it now...

What you do makes alot of people happy, and you get money out of it...its not such a bad thing.

Was easy for me, I had just started college, and never needed money from my mom. I told her I'm making good money, paying for my schooling and bills so it is all good :) She didn't believe me until I showed her some pay stubs

easy i don't tell them. i just say i make my money from the internets. they don't understand computers anyway lol

Why let them know in the first place? It's enough for my dad that he knows I'm working in an office and I'm in front of the computer for 8 to 10 long hours at night shift. As long as I can provide for my family, it doesn't really matter what I do in front of the PC to earn money. If I let them know exactly what I do, it might hurt and offend them especially my younger sister.

i just say i do mainstream webdesigning... never mentioned im doing adult video editing all the time..

I'm way late to this thread...

I push a lot of mainstream (think Azoogle and the like), so I show various ad campaigns and web sites. They don't understand "that computer stuff" anyway.
