Anyone here ever ride a blimp or hot air balloon?
Got some friends getting all hyped up about going ride hot air balloons and rent a blimp and although it sounds fun, I been thinking about this shit lately...
this is an actual pic from one of these fucking blimps man, I dont know... <img src=http://69khz.com/images/blimp.jpg> Am i ready to just trust hot air to carry me over the SOuthern California desert? I dont know man, maybe Im just paranoid....

I rode in a Goodyear blimp when I was a kid. My grandparents owned a Ford dealership and got us on one somehow.
From what I remember it was pretty kick-ass.. of course I think back then (I was 7 or 8) I was a little freaked out by it. I remember looking up trying to read what the message on the side said.. up close all you see are a ton of little lightbulbs. Wouldn't mind going on one again. Of course it can't beat riding in an F-15
