    animated gif as xp desktop

    anyone know how to do this?
    i cant get it to be animated
    i have done it before but i cant remember how

          for some reason my xp home on this laptop does not have that option
          i keep searching around but i cant find any info on where to get the install files for windows active desktop just keep getting peoples cheezy already made bullshit

                first make a webpage with your animated gif

                then

                right click on desktop > properties

                then desktop > customize desktop , then tab web then "new" then find the page you created..

                at first the window will appear small you can change the size by dragging the edges

                  i built a script that grabs the top news headlines and the top 20 threads on gfy and places them on my desktop as a website

                    well it wsnt that big of a deal but since for some reason its not working
                    my hard headed ass cant stop now till i figure out why itwont let me
                    this article above assumes that when i will right click the desktop i will actualy have a menu for act ive desktop
                    for some reason its not installed
                    cannot find a download
                    i have up to date ie
                    and this is windows xp home
                    on all my other computers it gives me the option to enable or disable it
                    but for some damn reason this one isnt
                    i dunno im going to keep fucking with it i will tell you guys if i get it figured out lol
