Anyone have issues with Firefox not loading images on some sites?

I have been having this huge issue with firefox lately, it isn't loading images, it is completely random and isn't just about one site

I can load up one of my blogs and images won't show up, if I hit refresh a few times they will show up

same with gfy, some of the sigs don't show up, then I hit refresh and they do

funny thing is, on gfy, there can be multiple posts from the same person in one thread, and the sig image will show up in one post, and not the other

anyone else had this same issue?

Were you fucking around on any of those 'MAKE FIREFOX FASTER!' pages? You know, the ones that break TCP/IP specs and really beat the shit out of a webserver so you get your stroke material two miliseconds faster?

If not, have you un/reinstalled QuickTime? It loves to take over for PNGs.

Alternatively, since it seems to only be FF, this probably isn't it, but check your router's MTU.

Why not check out the IE beta? They've popped in tabbed browsing... and I've been enjoying it about as much as I used to enjoy Firefox before running into a string of problems similar to yours...

That's incredibly, incredibly strange. It's only been doing this since you reinstalled? How do you connect to the internet? USB ADSL or something?

comcast 6mb cable

it was doing it every now and then before I reformatted also, I just thought it was a bug in firefox, but now that it has been going on for a while, on two computers and after a fresh format, I am getting irritated

I am actually going to give ie7 a try again, I can't live without images...LOL

oh yeah, another thing I hate about the new IE is the lack of custmization options

I wanna be able to custmize the toolbar to exactly what I like, and it only lets me do so much

the way firefox allows me to take each button and put it where I want it ROCKS
