well that is simple. right now i am posting on gfy to get to know the ropes. i am a friend of a guy in the industry. he owns an adult related company and i room with him. basically i have been told to hang around gfy and get to know people for awhile, and read up on old threads, etc. i post alot but i have a regular job too.

my primary goal in the industry is to learn right now. i post alot because thats the type of person i am. i want my name known and any type of publicity is good for me.

so what do you think you know about me that i dont think you know about me?

If somebody wants to post day and night on a bbs and they enjoy it..go for it..Post count means shit,all it means you post a lot on a board..I post to kill some time and have been every day for 4 years..

I don't really care about your posting. It is annoying, but it's GFY. But don't try and act like you're here for other reasons than getting your sig in front of as many people as you can. You came here from day 1 begging someone to buy your sig. Not exactly what someone who "wants to get to know the ropes" would be concerned about.

Just be proud of what you are doing, don't try and hide it to impress others. It's not worth it.

i came into this industry and didn't ask for a sig sponsor until i was well into my posting. its only natural that i would ask for a sig sponsor. alot of people made it a big deal and pointed fingers at me telling me i am a sig whore.

well thats just not true. one day the dust will clear over me and i will be freed of this horrid connotation of a "sig whore"

I admire your perseverance, but you have a lot of false assumptions. Sig whoring is only done by a few, mostly those hard up for cash. You were here only two weeks before you got a sig sponsor, it was obvious from the beginning this was your intent. The dust won't ever settle, you'll never be taken seriously business wise if all people think of you as is a sig whore.

I think it's great that you want to learn the biz and are reading as much as you can. However, since you are admittedly brand new to the biz, the last thing you should be doing is recommending services and programs to people. If you really care about making a name for yourself as you say, think quality over quantity instead of fixating on how many posts you need to make each day.

i understand that a few are here for sig whoring, but at the same time this is a business board and everyone is here whoring themselves out for one thing or another. some maybe sig whoring, other's are doing it through business threads. its all a different approach but the same result.

as far as the people i recommend i stand strong behind them. my friends are ones i trust and just like many in this business we recommend friends of ous. its no different for me.
