I spent 3 days in LA got to say i didn't like it that much

Hollywood is great to visit.. I live 30 mins out which in LA time is just close enough to enjoy it when I want to and just far enough to not have to deal with it all the time.

I miss pinks on La Brea and that french bistro accross the street

Damm you got me thinking about things I miss.

I want a nice steak at Musso & Franks now.

I've been living in Hollywood for 2 months now... its not that great. Malibu and the Sunset strip are alright to hang out in. But everybody knows the place to be is Beverley Hills.

I still havent made it over to Cali... I would love to check out Hollywood

Its sad to say, I haven't been to the beach yet... well I filmed one day in Malibu by beach, but it wasnt the same, I was working :(

I've never been there and saw only in movies and soap-operas.

I have never been to LA....

I grew up in Hollywood, and it's part of me. There's three levels to Hollywood in my opinion:

1. The shiny-glitzy town everyone thinks it is - movie stars, money, and glamour. This is what people who have NEVER been think.

2. The shithole it really is. On the surface, the actual city of Hollywood is dirty, full of traffic and insane amounts of tourists (looking for #1) and homeless.

3. The spellbinding culture that lies beneath the surface. Nothing beats Sunday brunch on Melrose, CD shopping at Aron's (and now Ameoba), your first punk show at the Whisky, fingering a random girl at the Lava Lounge, strolling the galleries on La Brea, or the first time you party on the roof of the Argyle.

Don't believe the Hype. Hollywood is NOTHING like it is in the movies. It's better :thumbsup
