Vista is nothing special.They just integrate better skin and that's it.I will wait when first service pack will be issued.After all with every new version of windows there is 50000 new security bugs.

It's the ranking of your computer specs. How fast your CPU is, your video card, your ram.... all that stuff. And if windows finds that it's high enough, it will enable or disable features/performance accordingly.

Yup, there is.. it's called the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor.

You can download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvist...r/default.mspx

It'll do the exact same tests on your system and tell you how well Vista will run on your machine.

Just bought a laptop with it pre-installed.
So far looks great and isnt slow at all.

However, I cannot connect to my home network for some reason... its slowly pisisng me off.
