For all of you motorcycle riders out there!
KEEP ON RIDING HAHA I had a wreck august 2nd, pants had to be cut off of me and everything, no broken bones, but was missing a fuck load of skin....got bored waiting in the hallway at the emergency room, somehow my Razor cellphone lived through the wreck (the only thing that did)
Some people just wont understand that if riding is in your blood, its in your blood, I get my 2006 gsxr 600 back on the road tonight when I get out of class ![]() ![]()

you might smile more if you had worn protective gear. racers fall off all the time, lose no skin, and don't get more than a few bruises. good luck to you. |

you're a fuckin amateur! if you're gonna wreck, do it right.
I ran my 2006 Yamaha FZ1 off the road at over 140mph and spent a week listed as critical in ICU with a ruptured spleen, bruised brain, broken ribs, broken clavicle, bruised lungs, fluid around my liver, busted eye socket, and road rash where my right glove came off and where my jacket slid up my back a little. And there aint no getting my three week old bike back on the road... its scrapyard fodder now. At least on thursday i find out if i need some surgery to fix some of these broken bones. Nah seriously dude, glad you werent hurt worse. Fix that bike and get back on it. I've already been working on my track bike, getting it street ready so I'll have something to ride while i'm waiting on the insurance to settle on my wrecked bike. Not sure how my glove came off, but next time I go on a 'spirited' ride with my buddies, I'll damn sure be wearing my 1-piece leathers. Wouldnt have saved any broken bones but would have reduced the road rash to zero.

good, maybe that saved your life. and your example is useful to others on GFY considering buying a bike. protect the complete body, especially when riding sport. gloves, reinforced pants, real motorcycle boots. and getoffs like this would be mostly a non event. glad you are ok. don't hotdog and follow too close. if the car in front of you has to panic brake for anything (deer crossing road, etc.) you are going to get hurt. the physics of riding on the street with cars is very dangerous, always has been, always will be. protect yourself, leave yourself an out. i was a young sport biker also. wild sometimes like you. i was lucky. now learn from this getoff and get riding again. |
