Whats your "comfort food"??? (PIC)

Feeling a bit under the weather today and have been just resting up.

All day long I have been craving my comfort food which is grilled cheeze sandwhich and tomato soup.

I guess thats what mom used to make when I was a kid and was sick.

Whats your "comfort food"?

Side note, a sprinkle of garlic salt on the cheese in the sandwich before you grill it kicks ass.

Ahhhh yes and sprinkling the garlic salt on the buttered bread before grilling it makes for a yummy crisp outside!

You're supposed to grill it, not burn it. :-)

When I'm sick I like food that comes in pieces, like chicken nuggets or crackers with peanut butter.

switch to whole milk.
drop the crushed ice, substitute 1 cup frozen berries.
no more need for jelly.
May add a little yogurt as well.

Chicken broth ( chicken bouillon + water + spices, fresh garlic and a few pieces of onion ) w/ buttered saltines.

Grilled cheese and tomato soup's pretty freaking good, though, too.

I have made it from scratch on a few occasions for dinners, but when I am under the weather I go for moms old standard of Cambell's condensed tomato soup. For me I like to use the can of milk instead of water but that is personal choice.

Milk is the proper liquid, water was just a frugal option.
