Santa Claus is sitting on his throne, with children queuing up to tell them what they want
for Christmas.
A one-armed Asian kid walks up, Santa bends down and asks: "Now, what would you like Santa
to give you for Christmas?" The child asks for a new arm. So Santa pulls out his little bag
of fairy-dust and sprinkles some in the air and lo! A new arm appears.
Next up is a one-legged Serbian in a wheelchair. Santa asks what would she would like for
Christmas. She asks for a new leg. And so, he gets out his bag of fairy-dust again,
sprinkles some in the air and a new leg appears.
Next in the line is a black child, a boy with no arms and no legs. Santa looks sadly upon
him. He asks what he would most like for Christmas. The boy asks for a pair of arms and a
pair of legs.
Santa reaches for his bag of fairy-dust... only to find that he was run out. He ponders on
this for many moments, looking down upon this sorry state. Finally he comes to a decision,
reaches into his pocket and says:
"Here you go, kid, a piece of string - you can be a
conker."
