some of them are definately "display" pieces. the highlander bowie for sure wouldnt break, its the only one i have ever put to actual use. not in a belly tho, took it with me camping one thanksgiving weekend. its sharp enough to shave with.

I've liked most of the kershaws I've seen. I bought my girlfriend a black chive. I prefer the axis lock on the benchmade knives over a liner lock or frame lock. My EDC is a SOG mini x-ray that uses their version of the axis. It uses ATS-34 steel, which has held up to the cutting I do.
