Anyone get notice from Snapnames about the change in pricing?

I never got an email or anything from them after spending $500k plus there since january1 and they went from $60 per starting bid to varying pricing. for example i went to backorder lac.net and hag.net and the initial bid to join the auction was $15k and $18k as opposed to $60 and letting the forces of nature takeover later. Snap is just going to pre-price the domains so they can keep them?

Anybody have any additional info- most appreciated-

I am curious what the pre-pricing will be like on non-vanity domains. I am thinking back to when we first started tracking drops and buying them and Brujah cursing snapnames-

if i am wrong in my analysis of the new structure then fine, but if it is no glitch then this is the biggest abuse by a registrar network ever. they have an exclusive on netsol domain expirations and will end up keeping the choiceness.

i am in disbelief that they would do this without notice. i thought enom was nuts to raise their initial bid from $39 to $69 but this situation is far more dramatic.

They're auctioning off a huge block of BuyDomains names apparently, and those names will appear with higher reserve pricing in their partner lists and system.

ah- thanks for the head's up. we'll have to buildout a mechanism to separate those like we did with their $10 public auctions.
