All I can say is that this sure is a beautiful country. If you have never taken the time to drive across it, you really should consider it. There are some pretty outrageous places here.

Driving across Texas is a bitch... dont realize how big that state is until you drive across it.
I bet crossing US on bike is awesome though

TX is big, no doubt, and while there are portions that are flat and empty, there are still some really cool things to see there.Comment

How many states did you drive through? I wanna do that sometime, come out there for 6 weeks or so and spend time in a few different places.
So far I've been to Florida, New York, Vegas and LA. So I wanna see more.Comment

I did a Cali to Ohio drive once..
Some parts had nothing but miles & miles for miles & miles...Comment

I left on Sept 2, driving from LA to PHX for Rochard and Punker Barbie's birthday party.
The next morning I left and went up and across AZ, across NM into TX then OK.
Next morning I drove up and across OK, to MO, IL and IN
The way home I went across IL, IA, NE, WY, UT, NV to the GFY offices in Sacramento. This morning I drove to San Francisco, then down to LA.
About 5,200 miles total.
Add another 3,500+ I put on the bike 3 weeks earlier, and I have put some miles on in the last 1.5 monthsComment
