My vbulletin locks up on me around 6000 every single time - so I want to use something else. What software or services will do my mailing for me?

www.download.com and you can find a few good email clients that take exported csv's and do bulk mailings.

http://ecom24.com/ has an application called "auto response plus" its bad ass for the price. I use it to deliver to a mailing list of around 350k

The speed of the deliver also depends on the server equipment you are using. A server just running the app on xeons will send aroudn 50k - 80k per hour. does open rate tracking, and you can build lists of people that opened certain mails..not bad for the price of i think $150. Its a good product at a reasonable price.

I use a HUGE box to mail my members...postage can be pricy though depending on how fat they are....hahahaha....sorry, I saw the title and this was the first thing that popped into my head

A database, and PHPMailer. It has built in SMTP so you can either fork the bitch off, or dump it to another host and let that deal with it.
