I just checked and didn't see you on he Giant lineup.....how did you get a gig there? I would have loved to haver played there when I was out in LA
Lee Burridge was the headliner. I just did lighting and laser at this one, hence the pic of the lighting and laser. My dj gig there isn't until next month. You need to come out and hangout and meet the promoter with me, thats the only way to get in there. Its one of the hardest clubs to get into.

well, considering they almost always only book national and regional headliners that have major music production done...yeah, I know
I tried so hard when I was there
If I was djing out any more I would probably jump on that like white on rice, but I keep my djing to cd's and the internet these days

yeah, they'd rather pay some foreigner 5 times to 10 times the amount to do the same job that someone else can do. i won't be a headliner thats for sure.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
so many women go to this club, my neck was hurting at the end of the night.
the club is on hollywood blvd. and pretty uch the exit on 101. if you get off of 101 at hollywood blvd, its on the right about 2 blocks from the exit as you head towards hollywood. its a big white building and used to be a theater. there are no markings on the bulding and no street numbers. its all white and very mysterious looking. huge building. the entrance is from the back only.

giant is an amazing club, no matter where they hold it
when we were living out there it was at Circus Circus, which was a bad ass space, then they got kicked out and were doing it at a different place every 2 weeks for a whlie
I can honestly say Giant is the ONLY club that I ever went to that we had to get there at 6pm to stand in line until 11-12am, and only then you had a CHANCE of getting in.....but it is SO worth it, the energy, vibe and atmosphere and like no other club I had ever been to, they have recreated a scene straight from Ibiza
the owner of the venue is some guy that made $$$$ with an internet company and wanted to open up a club.
Pasqual is the guy who does much of the DJ bookings for Vanguard and also owns Insomniac which throws the Nocturnal Wonderland party, among others. Pasqual is the one who booked Paul Van Dky for this friday.
I've known the guys from Giant since day 1. Dave from Giant called me on Sat nite with an offer for a free bottle/table so we had to take him up on it. Ended up buying a 2nd bottle as well - not good
We'll be there on thursday for 2 Many DJs...can't wait.
we prob won't go back on a Sat nite until Sharam from Deep Dish on the last weekend of the month - though i'd like to say hi to a friend who works with Danny Howells' booking agency in DC and she is coming in this weekend with him.
i'm also a lighting and laser technician. when i said "gig" some people thought it meant dj, when gig means "working a venue" to me. i talked to the right people and they are aware of my history and experience as a dj, as i always do. i def don't have a name to headline, i'm not that into it anymore like the old days.
i didn't really see any of those huge lines though. the people running that club really know their shit, and i don't mean the promoters. the promoters are not in charge at that club, the venue has a tight ass team of people including paul oakenfold's former manager.
