Canadian Travelling To Prague - I Need Help!

Hey guys, after webmaster access in Amsterdam we are planning on a quick 3 day trip to prague. I have heard that to enter the Czech Republic you need to have a Canadian Health Card or proof of health insurance.

Can anyone confirm this? I never got my health card from the government and I don't think I have a proof of health insurance from my benefits company.

You don't have a health card? Go get one, walk into any OHIP office and they'll take your photo and give you a temporary one (which is proof along with a photo id) and they'll mail you one in about a week. Takes like 10 minutes.

i took the www.itsyourporn.com guys to Prague last year, we crossed the border without any hassle without that. but you can hit up Phil or Mitch to ask if you like

Make sure you hit "Il Flecu".

It's in the old town and is a brewery that has been continuously brewing beer since 1499.

Myself, CuriousTim, the MrSkin boys and a few others got absolutely mashed there during AOE early last year.

But it takes 10 minutes (they issue it on site) to get your temporary card and in conjunction with your drivers license (or other photo id), its a valid health card. You don't need to wait a week to do that.

There was some beef in the past, because a lot of our gypies moved to Candada, so they had to make only a visa entry for our country to get in Canada. Not sure how its was solved...
