thestatistician hits out , hits counted??

Howdy all, todays topic: Hits out, Hits counted.

    http://www.thestatistician.com/03.html

Chech out Primecash and Scorecash. I dont get it, The hits OUT are FARRRRR less then the hits COUNTED. Where the fuck did all them hits go? Were those lost hits that ended up in web space. So all those lost hits could have been potential sign ups?

If thats the case, that FUCKING sucks. I hope that does not happen with Flyntdigital. Maybe thats where all my clickthroughs go, lol.

AFAIK Primecash counts hits on the second page of its paysite tours which is what most of the sites do... That's usually because these program also pay for uniques or hits. This doesn't affect tracking of signups at all.

is it cheating if you link directly to the second page?

Statistician is a Joke! NEVER trust the numbers of any webmaster entity that accepts Ad $$$$ and most all do.Everyone of them have an agenda and every one has its alliances for promotion.Trust what YOU see and those that you trust see.Remember payola is huge with alot of these guys.

I think any program should tell you what method they are using to count hits i.e. unique/raw / front page / second page. I'm disappointed that Score-cash didn't make this abundantly clear in their webmasters section. Makes a huge difference, especially when comparing conversion ratios. Click through ratios from front page can be as bad as 10-20% on generic teen sites ( Flashcash and ooooooo are the only two sponsors I know that provide both sets of stats i.e. front page and second page), though a lot higher for niche sites.

H'mm partnershipcash looks like another one that is second page unique. That would explain why I am making 39 cents a click with them.

Wait a g*d damn minute. If most sponsors start counting at the second page this means I was not getting an acuarte count of how many visitors actually clicked the sponsor add on my gallery. If they clicked through but did not go on to the second tour page the click through never got counted.

This could be why for months I thouht my click throughs really sucked. I was using my sponsors click through counter as a referance. DOH!!

                  thx
