help... selling site

Hey

I've run a movie site (bigxvids.com) for over a year but have finally decided i'd like to sell it off and try something else. Only problem is i've never sold a site and not sure what the exact procedures are.

I also need some help with finding a good price to sell at, so just wondering what you guys would say the value of my site is.

It gets around 40-50k traffic.

Thanks

You'll need to be able to prove the income from the site as well as the costs to run it... and the stats showing the traffic numbers are correct.

THEN you can deal about selling it to someone. No proof? No sale on a site more than a few bucks.

3-5k?? And what is it you took this morning?! Must be nice to be able to toss out numbers like you have spare cash for no proof on a sites income etc.

You can list it on ebay with a high reserve price to see what it goes for.

I think ebay may also be one of the better options. But I think you would also need to promote the auction on webmaster boards. Be aware of the ebay rules, you can't actually say the domain/URL of an adult site, I believe. I see auctions saying 'email for the actual URL'.
