    Waiting till the last second.

    I paid the price for waiting untill the last day to do my X-mas shopping, a few years ago. I was driving around realizing that everything was closing early. I had to buy everyone's presents after X-mas. That sucked.

    Anyhow, I've learned my lesson. We're going out in a little bit to do our shopping.

    I hate the crowds too. No just in the malls and stores, but on the roads. I forsee most of the people on my gift list receiving gift certificates this year...

              Heading home from the shops today, I got involved in a bit of the old, Road Rage. Some asshole was driving like a complete prick and he had 2 kids in the back seat.

                                              Or you could look at it from another perspective - Is it better that you open a gift and hold it up and smile and act so happy, when you're actually thinking, 'What the hell was she thinking?' or 'Did he actually think this would fit?' or 'I wonder if the receipt is in the box?'

                                              Gift certificates are an acceptable gift. Your chances of making your gift receiver happy are a lot better.
