a lot, i dont know a % figure though. some of these end up turning into chargebacks.

It is a very good question. Too bad I cant ask my members, in case they actually DID forget. lol...

Multimonth rebills seem to be easier to forget. Getting the monthly notification (For those billers that do send it) tends to remind them to cancel.

I have been watching for that and right now with last months rebills 5% did not login to the site for that month, The other 95 had at least one time, I don't have 1000's of members either and if i did it would take a lot of time to figure it out

if you own a site why don't you ask members who are cancelling to fill out a simple form.

Just ask why they are cancelling their membership and what made them only stay a member for a month/stay for several months?

I have one dude I'm sure he has forgotten, lol. He rebills since 10 months by now. What a good citizen. :)

And I think that's the main reason why we get very big chargebacks. The guy figures out he's been paying for a paysite for the last 6 months without really knowing and decide to chargeback.

For some of my paysites, I've checked the usernames to see who actually logs in and who doesn't... I think more than 90% of the money funding our business is people who forgot to cancel. Might be different for other peoples sites.

I got my first paysite online in feb/2005 and i just checkd i still have about 60 members rebilling from may/05 which havent signed in even once at 2006 its clear they forgot. So for me it comes to about 15% that actually forget.
