It amazes me how many screw over others in this industry ... kinda sad actually, especially when you give work out and all they have to do is complete it and they will more than likely get a return customer!

When I was with EGC, I had someone writing for me and she did a great job. Always punctual and good work, but then disappeared. This and that was going wrong, her daughter, her health ... disappeared with my money and the work.

Its always nice to talk about the "principal" of things, but rarely are they worth the effort.

This woman basically stole from many people here to pay some of her bills, maybe buy some food, maybe go to a movie every now and then. People like this don't have assets. They don't have things to collect. They're broke. They pay their rent just enough not to get evicted. They drive barely running cars, if they even own a car. And they hop from job to job, always using their "hardships" as a scapegoat.

She has nothing. What do you expect people to get from her? Everyone in this thread can waste their time chasing her down so they can split a coffee table that might be worth $30, or they can move on with their life and chock it up as a lesson learned. The latter makes much more sense.

This is my view, if con artists get away with coning people then they will keep on conning other decent people because they can and if none of their victims take action and make them face the consequences through legal or illegal actions then these scammers will continue to scam people.

You say Tala has no money but how do YOU know this? Did you get that info from her blog? If that is so, then how do you not know that it was merely a lie? Finding out info like that would be enough info to discourage an honest person like yourself. Personally, I wouldn't trust that info. I would need to see for myself if she was broke or not

Sorta makes me wonder about other things that people in this thread have mentioned like her operation, how do people know that wasn't a scam as well? Anyone got any proof that she had an operation at all? How much money did she rack up from that collection?

From this thread I know it was at least $1000 that Soul Rebel donated, Sly if Tala had just scammed people out of about $1000 in total I'd fully support your view but it seems to me that she scammed quite a few people out of a decent amount of cash.

You both should re-read what I said. Hey, go after her all you want. Spend your time and money chasing her down, going to court, and doing whatever you have to do. But don't be pissed off when you find out she has no money or assets to give you.

I'm with you guys on this. Scammers should not get a free ride. All I'm saying is its extremely unlikely that you'll ever get paid back or receive any of her "assets". She had no money when she posted around here, what makes you think she suddenly does now?

I understand the whole principle part. It does piss me off to no end when I think about it for even a bit. It just is not as easy for me to go hunting someone down.

She knows damn well I am in a wheelchair and get hit with very large medical bills all of the time. I work damn hard for my money, even if a good portion of it just goes to doctors or hospitals. I also though know what it is like to be a little down on your luck or finances at the moment. I have borrowed money from other before when I was in such a predicament, I just always paid people back fast or at least kept them informed and at the top of my whom to pay off list. In the same vein I have loaned out tens of thousands to people in this industry over the course of the last few years. Everyone aside from her has paid me back when promised or at least paid me in full and kept me in the loop as to why they were late.

I hate thieves and I really hate being stolen from. Honestly if someone wants or needs something so bad they are willing to steal it from me, just fucking tell me and I would rather just give it to you than you rip me off.

Well if you had the choice of paying for a roof over head or some loan you got it takes low priority. Im not saying its right but if there is a choice of survival or paying debts to friends, friends will always lose.Thats why I loan money to very few people.

Who the fuck cares, not like it matters. Im paralyzed from the waste down, grew up on welfare and for a good portion with an abusive mother, until the divorce. My creditors give fuck all about it and why should I about her?
