Who knows how to check their CCBILL affiliate link?

I did not and neither did a couple of my affiliates. So a quick phone call to the guys in Phoenix and it was sorted. So who knows how to check?

This is where the clever ones jump in and tell the rest of us how clever they are.

And how stupid I am.

So for the rest of us morons here is how to check it.

Go to the site via your link code.

Go to the join page and click on CCBILL.

On the CCBILL sign up page go view> source and search for your affiliate
code number in the text.

123456

And there it is.

<input type=hidden name=ccbill_referer value='123456'><input type=hidden
name=referingURL value=''><input type=hidden name=referingDestURL value=''>
</font></div>

And there it was.

Simple, so everyone who did not know now knows.

Paul - are you referring to checking if it's tracking? *If yes, click your link - clik *Join* - then do a 'View Source' and 'FIND' referer value=

If you're referring to getting the linking codes - click TOOLS - Get Banners and the code is there.

Not sure if that's your question though.

Ooops - sorry posted too late!
I normally go with the "referer value" first just because I'll know if it's tracking my own or not.

The way I said was the way CCBILL support told me on the phone. I will bet a lot of those who say CCBILL does not convert are getting the code wrong.

I will mail out my Affiliates today to have them check their links.

good thread! EVERYONE should know how to do this since i've seen in the past some ccbill sponsors fuck up on their hosted gallery codes so that the affiliates would NOT get their affiliate codes tracked

thus a form of shaving!
