So Whatsup with nats today?

Signups arent being displayed correctly on wildcash.. havent for hours..

Then I try to login to nichedsites..
NATS has found a problem

mysql_query(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource

/home/web1/nats/includes/database.php:141

Is something going wrong with a nats update today? my sales arent looking too great either.. its a big conspiracy!

That only indicates that MySql is down, so NATS can't do it's job.

All stats are now up to date.

We have had a small synchronizing problem from data base during backup.
All sales have been tracking and no data has been lost.

Thank you

NATS provides their own MySQL installation if I remember correctly..

Can someone verify this?

For the people who don't realize what this means.. if MySQL is down, NATS has nowhere to store stats.

How well do you think sales get tracked then?

I agreed with you, never said nothing about no crashing, just this sort of thing happend while back & it was the databases & not nats,.. it just says nats on the page people see because nats uses that database.. I'm guessing here,,

It's probably simple enough to recover once MySQL is working again, and retrieve the stats.

I thought you were saying MySql was down on several different programs, all at the same time.

that happened while back, not necessarily down, but displaying errors & there was some discussion in threads about people bitching that it was a risk because full path was displayed on error page.... was all in same 24 hour period.. some of them were at same time,, that's when nats said it wasnt the software, that it was mysql databases & was coincidence it was all these programs in same day.. something along those lines..

Wildcash, hodough, nichewealth, panchodog were ones I remember.. may be others..

nichedsites is still down for me... I can login, etc.. but when I try to generate stats, it just sits and tries and tries and eventually times out..

Speaking on the subject of mysql dying.. its a simple fix.. As far as I know, You can still signup to a site, if mysql is dead.. but of course, nats will not report it.. but once mysql is up and running, there is a nats script that imports stats and updates the tables to make it current.. ie, showing signups.. im assuming there was an issue with this said script, regarding the lawsuit.
