God it sucked compared to Silence Of The Lambs. The actress who replaced Jody Foster sucked, and there was too much emphasis on graphic violence and less emphasis on what made SOTL a GREAT movie...psychological and implied horrific acts.

Hannible is coming back in Red Dragon, Edward Norton is in this one, as well as Wild Bill in a bigger role........

the end of red dragon was shit.. it was like he was rushing to meet the publisher's deadline.. just not good... I hope they'll re-write it for the movie.

as a stand alone movie Hannibal would have been good -

but - as a sequel to silence of the lambs - you're right - it sucked ass. So many years passed - I kind of had expected that if they were making a sequel - they were making a GREAT one....

oh well - probably my fault - most seqeuls pail in comparison
