for those of you who dont know how a chain link fence works:

you drive between the posts (figure 1) and the fence ties (figure 2) hold the fence onto the posts. if the fence ties arent there in the first place, or you break them while driving thru the fence it gets lifted up by the car, you arent going to knock over the posts by hitting just the chain link part because the posts are cemented into the ground.

theres this thing called gravity plus the fact that theres other parts of the fence still tied on that brings it back down to where it was before. the cop either was too stupid to drive thru or he just didnt want to scratch up his car.

has anyone ever seen anyone lift a fence up while someone else crawls under? same concept only a car goes under the fence instead of a person.

THat would mean that they were ready to tape it, that they saw it before.

i think the fence would def. be AT LEAST dented, and the car is going directly through the middle of a long fence, i dont see it just "bending back" when a 2 ton car going crashing through it.

mmh couple of things.. the grill is attached to something... even if its not attached at the bottom, it as to be attached at the top or on the side... If it is, the grill would have bent... it cannot just snap back without any distortion... second... if the grill was that loose, the cops there aren't stupid enough to not check it out and then call it a mistery.. common.. I know some of you desperately want to find an explanation but let's keep it logical..

I meant to say, on the side.. the only way it can snap back it is if its attached only on the top horizontal post... Something that would be very easy for the cops to verify and solve the mystery..

what makes you think those cops had any say in what goes on the tv show? the cops were just there, im sure the tv show does the full editing, and they do it based on what will ge them the best ratings.
