Hope there will come the day of some realism and sanity injected - else that will cause major serious problems to millions of people.

The slight problem with bouncing back is that there is a global shift of "economy" going on and this is likely to be the biggest economic boom ever seen - and not only affecting the US, but almost all other industrialized countries to some degree.

This change has already started on the western Pacific rim and into southern Asia. Who knows, but suspect after that, there will be more "booms" in other continents - eg South America. The world is a rapidly changing place right now :)

The history tells us that the greatest of civilizations was Rome and it lasted over 1000 years. US is too young to be judged, but arguably it is the most influential civilization of our time. The system is built around the same principles as Rome in addition to the emphasis on freedom of speech, religion, and thought. The last century was especially profitable for the US, joining the World Wars at the end and harvesting the cash.

The world is constantly changing and so is the US. But the core values remain intact and US has been very successful in managing crises. So yes I agree that it will bounce.

Why do your Music Bands want to hit it big in the United States?
Why does Canada court Hollywood and Television production to be filmed in Canada?

Why is it that US music is played predominantly in Canada?

I could go on and on, but then it would be a Canada vs USA thing. I love Canada too much, specifically Vancouver to go on.

US technology, money and culture.

The US has contributed much in the technology field and is prob at the top, tho there are countries like Japan (that's west and over the Pacific)

Money, what money? The country is living on borrowings and credit from other nations - it has never had a trade surplus since around the late 60's and currently has only two industries producing a trade profit. There is little that can be offered to other nations, tho plenty buying from them - and that needs paying for, - not extended loans.

Culture.. mmmm ... sure ain't no leader in any culture :winkwink:

You can thank Canada for having supported you in many ways - not least, by providing over 90% of oil consumption and not least for providing much natural resources in other areas - eg timber.
