Review me site (swear not spam!)

Hallo. Still a newb here to the whole online adult industry. I work for Exotic Dancer Publications and designed exoticdancer.com a while back. Were coming out with a new site soon called The Girls of Exotic Dancer. http://girlsofed.com

It will be a paysite soon, but right now its free access. So, Im not looking to spam my site or anything, just wanna some feedback on it. Ive never designed a paysite before.

Im going to set it up so that you can click on the different model categories and look at all the girls we have on the site, but if you click on there thumbnail, you cant access unless youre a member.

Still got some more things to do until we try to get people to the site, but does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Oh. exoticdancer.com is mostly just information for exotic dancer industry. We also sell the directory and tshirts on there. But we dont really push the site for that reason that much. Actually the CC order just gets sent via secure email and we enter in the info by hand.

So I meant, Ive never designed like a subscription site where you have to get surfers to sign up etc.

How? What value do I get out of it? I cant make money off you. Theres not even a payment option up yet. Theres no banners/sponsors on the page. So no money there. Im not asking you to link to my site. So how is it spam?

Just asking for feedback. Seeing as this is a forum where adult webmasters discuss?

Site looks good but your graphics are VERY heavy... the main page is a 400k load with the mouse overs... you gotta bring that down....

Not sure how it works. Were setup with Interland (dont like them much). And the secretary set it up so she connects to their servers and downloads the info with some encryption thingie, and then she just enters it in by hand.

But well be using either a third party CC processor or get merchant account via Authorize.net with this new paysite and prolly switch over the exoticdancr.com site with the same system. Still researchin how they work.

Allright, cool. Yeah, I like to impress the boss with nice lookin gfx But youre right, I probably gotta bring it down.

Whats a good file size for thumbnails and then the main graphic?
Out thumbs are like 8-9k and main image is like 50-70k

As a Rule, I've always tried to keep the entire page load below 100k (keeping in mind that you have to account for the mouseover graphics) .... thumbs can look good at 5-6k ..

Just remember, there are still people using dialup out there and if it takes to long to load, they usually just leave...

Hey, shes a smart chick! no but, Im not sure who set it up in the office, I just mean shes the one whos computer is configured for it. Im sure whoever set it up was on the phone with Interland Tech. Support.

It will be a paysite, yes? You need to sell it like a product then. "Buy me!" ... eg: "Join!" ... The "If you're not a member, click here", in small text below the login form isn't going to sell, because no one will see it.. all I found while surfing was a bunch of free porn to jack off too.. Nice pics too.
