hi ;-)

tz tz tz
I told you in kaprun

boot + wakeboard = lots of fun in the land of cheese

but you did not come ... and now the summer is almost over

just came back from Geneve/Lausanne 5 days ago ... great place to live but cost of living is 2 times higher than normal. Real estate is fucking expensive - Shania Twains 'house' is for sale ... approx. 25 mil $ ;-)

concerning taxes ... it really depends in what Canton you live ... the more you earn the less % you pay :-)

not realy, you can only be there 90 days out of any 180 day period... see: Schengen treaty on wikipedia

as far as switzerland goes, i always have a soft spot for neuchatel and geneva, as I speak french. swiss alps are my favorite spot in the world, good luck, hope you have lots of cash on hand.

the place gave me sticker shock coming from new york city.

karlm 08-27-2006 02:34 PM

Most of the stores closes at 19:00 o'clock. Some close later on Fridays. But there aren't any ones that are open 24/7 :-(
Some of the bigger ones are at Dietlikon, Wallisellen, Volketswil... That's at most 30 minutes from the city.
But i think if you live in the city, you'll find anything there you need and don't have to go to the agglomeration.

Well, you would need to get a swiss citizenship, of course. :)

Damn :(
Well, Im used to those malls...if for example the weather is bad, I can park my car there, go shopping, eat something, go to a movie theater, fitness, pools, etc...Everything under one roof. And open daily.

You'd def. need to check out Zurich and the club "Kaufleuten" - that's the place with best looking girls ever.
Where do you live currently? I'm thinking about moving there too, maybe we can talk a bit about that via IM.
