If someone had claimed my site had been made a month before or anything, I would be there to defend it.

Again, im just curious, no one is saying ANYTHING, but when brought up, there are the few who come just for the flame, but thats it.

I too think the accusations need to be explained. I don't have an axe to grind in the matter, but what is fair, should be fair.

Ive been trying to get hold of snow for 2 days, so i dont know where he is. LOL

But remember, there was a second judging, Amp didn't win and mafiaporn site wasn't entered. Different people had different INTERPRETATIONS of the initial rules, and the rules the second time around. Did Amp break the rules? Maybe, it depends on your interpretation. But, the contest, initially, was a publicity stunt and i don't think anyone felt Lawyers needed to be hired to write the rules.

I believe the spirit of the rules was that if you designed a great site 6 months ago that is converting great, dont just grab that and enter it. I dont know the time frame of when Amp began and ended the work on either of his sites, but he did show me incomplete works on the mafiaporn one AFTER the contest was suggested.

Isn't everything about a TV? I know in my house, every fight the kids have always boils down to the TV.

It has everything to do with the fucking TV. If there were no prizes then none of this shit would have gotten so out of hand in the first place. Lets not bullshit each other here. If it weren't for the prizes no one would have cared who won or who lost, who broke this rule or that rule. By the way how can you have rules when you are trying to make sites that convert the best. Not even the Kennedy assasination has been questioned this much. The contest is over. There was 2 judgings. Amp did not win. A designer from adult.com won. Well deserved also, it was a kick ass site. There were like 12 judges, top names in the industry who really didnt give a shit about any of the designers. Whats the problem.

My beef was simply with the accusations. They did not seem like flaming, they sounded like real deals gone bad, and no one addressed them.

Hey fletch let's let this die, I am trying to put together a new contest with adult.com running the whole thing, and me not being involved in the design part of it, we would supply the content, the domain names etc, with some really big prizes for the winners. Totally legit voting, and EVERYONE being on a fair playing field.
