    Wow! How to Generate a Shit Load of Traffic!!!!

    Tonight I wanted to find the lyrics to "Work It" by Missy Elliott. There's part of the song that I can't understand. (Does anyone know WTF "fremme neppa venette" means?)

    Anyway... I clicked through to some nobody's personal website (the dude had his own domain though) that happened to have the lyrics to the song. I looked at my Alexa bar and the damn site was ranked in the 2,000 range! Holy shit!

    A light went off in my head: post the lyrics to all popular songs on a web page, post banners and text links to your adult site, let the search engines find you, and let the traffic begin when people search for the words.

    BUT I WON'T DO THIS. Why?

    I'm afraid of underage surfers finding the site and Ashhahahahaha shutting me down for exposing them to porn.

    But I bet this would work great with a mainstream site!

    What do you think? Please don't rag on me for the idea. Like I said, it's not one that I'm going to implement.

          hmmm yeah.. Cool Idea!!! Bad news in our industry for the reason you mentioned, but yeah.
          SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

                          I'd be more worried about copyright infringement from the RIAA. Especially if your making money this way, they'll be knocking on your door very quickly. Most lyric sites they don't care so much about because they're non-profit, but if you put porn on there and get traffic, you'll hear from their lawyers...
