I am listening to the press conference now. Sounds like some stuff is going down!
Anyone in the UK following the cricket mess?

It is funny.... Everyone seems to avoid the actual issue.
Inzi says there is no evidence so he (and the team) shouldn't be called a cheater.
Umpires check every over now, so for them to have imposed the penalty means it must have been in a bad way... but there is no video evidence.
Will be interesting to see how it plays out. Any updates from the news conference?Paul

apparently Hair offered to to resign in exchange for $500,000 so now there is a different side to this whole issue. Nobody at the press conference expected thatComment

I've been following it simply to try to find that out as IMHO that's the only thing that matters. All the other BS is simply annoying. It's be nice to know exactly when was meant to have happened, if it happened and a pic of the ball for eveidence. Who gives a shit about the rest of it?Originally posted by RadiateI don't understand why they aren't talking about the actual ball tampering, what exactly occured?

The cameras did not catch anything naughty by the pakistani team and sky sports certainly have a lot of cameras fixed on the action all the time, I think Umpire Hair has a thing against them.Originally posted by sarah_webincapparently Hair offered to to resign in exchange for $500,000 so now there is a different side to this whole issue. Secondly the players know on the field there are camera's closely watching every move of theirs so only an extremely stupid person would tamper with the ball in an international match.Comment

Well, I started this thread at the start of the press conference when all the journalists were gasping because for once there was an actual surpise at a press conference.Comment
