My solution to the illegal beaner I mean Mexican problem:

The first time they are caught here illegally we implant a tracking device in their carotid artery. That device would also contain a small explosive charge that could be remotely detonated.

We deport them.

Then if they try to swim the Rio Grande again... BANG.

You need to watch the one about the member of the Minuteman Project who patrols the southern border and had to live with the illegal Mexican family in LA for 30 days. It was great.

I don't mind anyone coming to this country as long as:

A) You are willing to learn the language.

B) You are willing to become a legal citizen.

C) You contribute to our economy.

I live in a rural community, so we see alot of it first hand. Mexicans (or any nationality for that matter, just mexicans seem to make up the majority of the population) living 25 or 30 in a house, working the fields. Probably 85% don't speak, nor have the desire to learn, english. They travel with a half assed translator most times to bargain for work or make out at the store etc. Then many if not most of them send atleast half their check back home to momma in good ol' Mexico.

No, my TiVo records all kinds of shit out of the blue, and there was some kind of marathon on a couple of weeks ago so I had about 10 of them. Don't get me wrong now. They are some hard working mother fuckers for the most part. I had 7 mexicans on my concrete crew years ago that would shovel dog shit for 14 hours straight with a smile on their face. But then send their check out of this country back home to Mexico. That's where my problem lies. Out of all the mexicans I have ever worked with or around (which is probably close to 60 or 70), probably 8-10 total were honestly trying to become nationalized.

Leeching from social services is a welfare problem, not an immigration problem. Tighten up the requirements for welfare. It would decrease abuse by illegals and force the legal leeches to seek employment, reducing the need for immigrant labor.

Jews speak English even when scared or pissed off. The more scared or pissed off a Mexican gets, the less English they speak. Eventually they don't speak any English at all. Jews may throw some Yiddish words here and there but they also make sure you understand them when they do it.

Yes, both sets of my grandparents came over here on the boat but they did it LEAGALY and on the one side who only spoke Italian learned English. All very good statements. Mexicans do break their backs daily and yes they are trying to provide for their family. I don't feel that deportation is the answer as it just doesn't work. Border security is a joke. There needs to be some sort of measure to help these people along without handing them anything for free. It's a touchy subject for sure.

The white trash comment is spot on. There are just as many blacks and white CITIZENS of this nation that spend their days in the clinic or cashing a government check as mexicans. But...that being said, the illegal immigrants are still PART of the problem that must be addressed.

One set came over in 1918, the other set I'm not sure of the year but it was after WWII. They first wen to Canada and then came to the us. good for them but the premise behind them coming here remains the same.

I know a mexican guy that became legal and learned English and he makes much more than me. The 'imports' that take this route are smart (like your grandparents)

Because I dont know a single american, regardless of skin color, that will do it for less than mininum wage, with lunch break, and smoking breaks, and coffee breaks. Also they will want health insurance.

So I am seeing tomatoes at about 40$ per pound.

Your mom immigrated from Canada? So she was facing no real hardship in her native country and probably had the money to facilitate the citizenship process. Her situation can hardly be compared to a poor person immigrating from Mexico.

The solution that I have been able to cnger in my own mind is broken dwn in 2parts, and I am latin, but I'm being very bias here!!

1:The problem with not paying taxes whitch is one of the biggest concerns with the American pulblic.

problem:If you are a iellgal immagrant, and you are current working in this country and you are paying taxes the money obviously is going back to their original countries.

Solution: When anyone goes to a western union or financial institution to send money the should be asked for citizenship, if know can be provided automatic 50% tax on the money bieng handled. Money would be taxed to the financial intituation.

If money is physicllay bieng taken over borders, they are caught 75% tax on the amount found taxed by the federal intitution that catches them.

2: Most Americans have a problem with illegals using up federal funding (medicare, social security, welfare etc.....) Here is what I propose.

A: Cut it all out for every one that can't prove citzen or legal residency in this country. Now like the majority of the population in the U.S. We as a people don't have a problem helping someone out if there is something to show for it. So with all these women that are having kids left and right when it comes time to collect these resources.

1 if they are working they need to show payment of taxes.

2 If they are not working then they need provide their kids reports cards if the kids aren't mainting at least a B average. They recieve NOTHING as the parents of these people are aloowing a generation of dumb asses, and if your like me I say FUCK THAT!!

Though these two problem solvers could be tweaked a bit in theory I believe they can work. It accomplishes a few thing

1st it shows that the U.S. will not tolerate someone not trying to pay up when the rest of the population is FORCED to.

2 It show's we will help you if you help your self, and your children! If you don't you don't get shit and you can go

Your great grandfather sounds like an abitious and hardworking man. Let me ask you this...if he was from Mexico do you think he would have risked coming here illegally or stood staring at a line in the sand thinking "gosh, i sure wish i could cross this line and make a better life for myself and my family, but darn it, it's ILLEGAL!" ?
