Everybody ever opened a dispute on ebay regarding an unpaid item?

If so what happened next?

This piece of shit asshole moron with dumb excuses didnt pay for his item and now doesnt respond at all anymore and i opened a dispute.

This is maybe 2 weeks ago already and nothing happens. Whats the point of a dispute if nothing happens?

How long should i wait and what am i actually waiting for?

Disputes take about 30 days to resolve. In the end the only thing that happens is you get your ebay fees credited back to you. If people get too many marks against them for non-payment ebay will suspend their account.

The thing is the poster was still very rare and wanted when i first listed it. By now ebay is being flooded with it and the price dropped with 50% at least.

I was already worried when i saw that POS bidding on my item because he had a feedback score of 80% with too many negatives. And ofcourse that fucker won the item. He kept on bidding probably knowing he wouldnt pay anyway that shithead. I got some lame excuses: Holidays, money in different accounts yadiya the usual. And never heard of him again since. Another person contacted me, he also got screwed over by that guy.

I think that guy just bids on items he wants and if he has enough money 2 weeks later he actually might pay for 1 or 2. I hope that guy gets fucked over real fucking hard by someone else in the future.

I used to do a lot of ebay selling a while back, started in around 1999. Thanks to the vast number of yard/garage/carport/etc. sales around here, and with the population here being pretty oblivious to technology, I was one of the few people in the area aware of ebay?s existence. I was making at the peak around 7k a month (not fucking bad at all considering I only did around eight hours of work a week getting the items and listing them) until 2k3 when the people here finally realized there was an interweb. At 2k3, the same amount of work only netted about 1k profit ? 7x less money, same amount of work. Was retarded to continue.

That said, I had fun and sold some amazing things on eBay. One Sasha doll (some European doll) I bought for a quarter netted me 200 bucks, giving a profit of like 80000%, was fucking insane. Most of the people buying were good, but I had a few bad apples who either didn?t pay (which like in your case) in which you pretty much just have to ignore and move on as it was an hassle to deal with them for such small amounts of cash. It?s not worth your time to worry about them. Then you had the assfucks who claimed to never received the item (which is why I started to require at a minimum they get tracking on their packaging), but honestly even those were easy going compared to some of the true scammers lmao.

I had a pretty good policy which worked for most people, any item DOA they could send back for their money back, if the item was different than described they could get their money back, etc. The absolute best scammers I ever got are the ones who will buy a fairly expensive item, get it, and try to claim it was DOA or otherwise not working and send it back ? when I get the package and see the items, sure enough they are broke. Thing is, the item(s) aren?t the same what I sent out. Turns out these crazy bastards were getting broke items on the cheap (probably from eBay), buying a working item from me (and others), and trying to ship their broken item back.

I bet they sure were surprised when I let them know that I UV-stamp the majority of my items with a unique identify as well as photograph serial numbers, etc. Most of them shut their mouths about getting their money back after that, only had a few try to get their money back through resolutions (guess they figured ebay/pp would fall for their shit). After I provided the info to eBay/PayPal, they always got rejected. I wish I could still find good deal like I used to, wouldn?t mind start selling again on the side? I really enjoyed doing it.

I had the cops show up to "investigate" an order someone placed who said it wasn't what they wanted. He didn't call me, he called the cops. I went and got a money order right then, gave it to the police and the guy sent the shit back. Guess what, he stole all of the good stuff out of the lot. I laughed my balls off at that one.

Damn? that?s harsh, I hate the fucking police, would have hated for them to show up and investigate anything After ya got the lot back and it was missing stuff, were you able to reclaim anything or did you just have to foot the bill? I was really careful with everything I sold to prevent assfucks like that from getting away with a lot of stuff, only got burned a few times.

Was only a few hundred bucks so I ate it. Just couldn't believe the balls on that dude. I did have one other lady call the cops over something else she REFUSED insurance on. Low profit margin so I sold it and told them the risk of no insurance. She raised so much hell I paid her out of pocket as well. No way I feel like fighting those morons over a couple bucks ahaha.

God damn! You?ve had horrible lucks with cops + ebay users? kinda glad I got out of it now. If that would have happened to me I would have just went apeshit on whoever called the cops, can?t stand pussy people who can?t settle things on their own.

yeah theres plenty of irresponsible people and idiots on ebay, i sold my motorcycle and specified no shipping and someone did buy it now and wanted me to ship it, i ended up selling it for $500 more than before though so i was happy.

you dont get all your $ back from the fees either, the best thing to do instead of relisting it is email the runner up if there is one.

I thought it was after 10 days, then the sellers could file for thier fees back.

eBay sucks anymore.

I stopped using them, some idiot bought a Rolex I was selling, then wouldnt complete the deal, I still got charged the fees even though I filed a complaint.
I find that there are just too many idots on there and not enough return on the money, considering the amount of time you have to spend servicing the account.
