Any of you guys like to Fish?
Summer time has finally shown up & its now the perfect time to enjoy a little time reeling in the big boys. I spent the better part of yesterday afternoon on the water & looking foward to spending most of today out there.
Who else finds the time to cast a line during their busy day of selling porn? Fresh water or salt water? Any fly fishers?

I like fishing, in general I guess. I live in Pa, so not too much salt water fishing, but I love Walleye in Canada, and stripers in the hudson. Some great trout around here too..
I never understood fly fishing, looks exhausting. TarPy

I love to fish and we have some awesome spots to fish where I live, freshwater of course, but who the hell has the time anymore? There was a time when that's all we did was fish, but I don't even think we own a decent fishing pole at this point....... LOL

fishing is right behind sex and porn(they are different)
I enjoy bassfishing mainly, been doing it since i could hold a rod, spent 5 years chasing them in major/minor tournements around the south. Thinking of trying it again I get to go to the gulf a couple of times a year for a little salt water. It's always fun, Going in 2 weeks matter of fact. I'll take the digital and bring back pics. keep a tight line

More than twenty years ago I bought a place less than 100 yards from California's largest natural lake. Great for catfish and bass, as well as crappie and blue gill.
For the first five years, fished almost everyday. I bought three boats during that period of time, each bigger and better than the previous one. I have only fished a half dozen times, since then. I sold my last boat. I don't even walk down to the lake anymore. I don't have a real explanation for why I quit fishing, but I think it may have something to do with the fact I don't have to take a trip to fish anymore, so some of the fun went out of it. |

hahahah on Saturday at like 11pm here in Toronto I decided to go fishing.. So my buddy tells me I'm nuts, the fish can't see shit, there's just no way I'm going to catch a fish in the dark.. But I didn't care if I caught anything anyways, I just wanted to smoke joints and fish, YANOMSAYN?!
Of course, FIRST CAST, I catch a little bass, maybe a pound and a bit.. Then I caught another one maybe 20 minutes later.. Not a bad deal for night fishing! |

I pretty much live for fishing. Love the time on the water. I was in a big tournament this weekend but the weather was bad so I could not fish my regular spots. I fish almost every kingfish tourny I can as well as inshore tournaments. I catch alot of snook, redfish, trout, and the mighty silverking (tarpon). I live on terra ciea bay which is at the mouth of tampa bay. The water is beautiful. It's an estuary with some of the richest grass beds in Florida. I'm already looking forward to next months tourny. 1st prize inshore is $15,000. In the $100,000 kingfish tourny we had a 50lb king at the boat about to gaff him when a cuda came from under the boat and ripped him in half. No one said a word all the way back to the weigh in. It would have won. This is a pic of a little snook my wife caught.

We need to start putting together some fishing get-togethers. Seems like alot of people are into it here.
Looks like alot of people in Florida do the offshore thing, you lucky bastards! I'll be sitting on the shore drueling over your boats. Btw Randy is that a Boston Whaler? |

hey pro, no it's a 24 ft. pathfinder made by hewe's. nice boat but it's not mine. it's my buddies who is in the charter boat business. I love getting up in the tower on that boat. you can seee the fish so it's almost like cheating. if anyone ever wants to catch alot of fish offshore or inshore out of st.pete or bradenton give bluewater island charters a call or let me know and I'll hook you up. i have a carolina skiff . boston whaler makes a fine boat though. i'm taking the guys from work shark fishing next month. the bay is loaded down with monsters this time of year. they follow the tarpon schools in. you have got to watch out when you get a tarpon next to the boat because that 17 ft. hammerhead is close by. if anyone wants to fish down in miami in august you can catch snook in the surf at night.

I've got to go even further to get to the gulf stream living on the west coast of florida. to get to the blue water we have to go about 150 miles. it's an over nighter for sure. the great thing is that you can catch anything out there. marlin, tuna, sailfish, wahoo. the guys who went out for the tourney got there ass beat by the seas this past weekend. I fished the inshore division.
I'll probably bring my stuff down to miami to fish the beach at night for snook and reds.
