sub domains

If a sub domain doesn't respond but the domain it's self is fine, what could be the problem?

Could be an internal DNS pointer on the server. Or its not written into the http.conf file. Might be some other things that I can't think of this late too.

I don't know what the hell it was, I restarted apachectl and it started to work

Some adds to a server are just like Windows... you install or reconfigure Windows and you have to restart right? SOme things on servers are the same way. You didn't say you made changes and hadn't restarted or the auto refresh time hadn't passed yet.

Well Could be Server Alias in apache and Could be the DNS record.

They both need too be setup correctly to work
