How many affs/current members/monthly revenue? Pretty important stats.

Pretty much none dude.

Meta you should post more info like # of scenes etc etc. everything that is included.

Pornwolf 08-20-2006 08:33 PM

I don't get it Meta, why are you selling? YOu hyped that thing for the better part of 2003 - 2004... then nothing? A half-hearted try? I don't get it.

Ya shoulda kept it. If Pimpdog could pull Epiccash through with his antics you could have made it successful too. Some of the sites looked really nice.

KrisKross 08-20-2006 11:46 PM

Read the page he linked to... only one of the sites has content included.

datatank 08-21-2006 12:07 AM

What happened to the content you had in the members area?

No outside bids will be accepted.

It's only fitting to have it happen on GFY.

I almost want to buy it just to hear the details on why you suddenly decided you didn't want to be in this industry. You were extremely vague on all your postings, was just curious what made you all of a sudden contemplate more heavily on what you were going to do with your life.

The short answer is there is not much.

For a more detailed answer on the revenue and content...

I had 250 affiliates sign up when the beta was announced with one site, xGape, about a year ago. At one point xGape was getting around 10 signups a day.

Shortly after the beta launch, I decided I was leaving the industry.

That's when I neglected StudioCash, and did not pursue the beta phase or a full launch of the program any further, just letting it sit there and collect dust.

I let my NATS license expire, and for 5 of the last 6 months or so, no new joins have been coming through.

Then I let my hosting expire as well, so all the sites were offline for a month, and that screwed up some of the SE placements as well.

At one point xGape and xCrib were getting 4-5 signups a day from SE traffic, xGape with a #1 ranking for "anal porn" on yahoo, and xCrib a #1 ranking for "Interracial Porn".

All the current stats of the sites can be viewed by going to "domain/stats" (example: http://www.xgape.com/stats/ )

There is no member base... Currently there are 18 active members, all pretty much recurring from the beta phase about a year ago.

I had content for 3 sites: xgape, xcrib, and xfestivals.

xFestivals has softcore content with complete 2257 that is transferrable.

xGape and xCrib have content from 3 years ago when I started creating the program, which is not transferable. None of the other sites had content yet.

I will show the new owner where to get the same content (but newer), and I will put you in touch with the person who took my screenshots you see on the current sites, so your presentation will look the same as it does now.

My content was non exclusive, but because of the way It was presented on the sites and the quality of the screenshots, everyone assumed it was exclusive.

If webmasters can't tell between exclusive and non exclusive, I doubt surfers can. :) It's all about the presentation.

You can launch each site with 20 scenes per site. It would cost you $1,000 per 20 video scenes if you wanted to get the same content I had. If you furnished the remaining 9 sites with 20 scenes of video content per site, it would cost you a total of $9,000.

The story of StudioCash is a program that was never launched, and it's potential never realized. The program is ready for a full launch right now. All the assets are in place. The only thing it will need is content.

I would love to hear your offer, but in order for this process to be fair to everyone, I'll have to keep the bidding public, in this thread, and in an auction format.

I thought his program was MySpaceBucks, where you place his special affiliate code on your auto generated myspace profiles and make mad cash.

so, let me get this straight: the only thing included is the domains and softcore content for xfestivals? is that right? and if so, how much content are we talking about? man, why don't you make a page describing EXACTLY what will the buyer get and put it online? I was about to bid but now I don't have a clue about what's included in the sale and my bid went from high 4 figures to a couple hundreds, so please be a little more specific

I first announced I was leaving about a year ago. I got alot of inquiries and told everyone I would put together a sales package with more info.

I never did.

Instead I decided I could sell it for more money if I actually launched the program and built up a solid base of affiliates and members. So I went back to working on it, and finished everything and got it ready to launch a couple of months ago.

And right as I was about to launch it and reap the rewards of four years of work, I realized why I wanted to sell in the first place. I knew once I launched the program and the money started to come in, it would be very hard for me to walk away.

So I announced the sale again, found a buyer and a verbal agreement in place.

The buyer wanted me to launch everything for him. I was okay with that. He was in the middle of purchasing another business and things were dragging on longer than I was willing to wait.

Which brings us here, and this auction.

Last night I decided I was not going to wait another day. I decided I was going to sell StudioCash, no matter what the price, so I can finally move on and follow my dream.

Thats why nobody should deal with this person. He was full of shit, is full of shit and will always be full of shit.

Why you think it isnt sold yet.

I feel sorry for the person who is actually gonna send him the money.

No.

I had make a page describing exactly what you get, it was posted on the first page :) Here it is: http://www.studiocash.com/sale.html

Please refer to that for all the details, but to sum it up, you will get the affiliate program StudioCash, all setup with NATS already and it's own custom webmaster area, MAS software, with 10 paysites, a complete affiliate program, just NO CONTENT.

The sites have every single page already made for them, including tour pages, join, terms, and all 10 sites have their member areas as well. I'll upload the members area of one of the sites shortly.

The only thing you will need to launch this program would be the content for 9 of those sites. I can show you how to get and create the content like I did for $1,000 per site (20 scenes), uness ofcourse you want to shoot your own content for the sites and insert it in there.

I dedicated four years of my life to something that when launched, would have solved every monetary problem I have ever known. Now I am walking away from it to chase a dream.

I guess it all comes down to what your defintion of failure is.
